Our corporate office is located in the heart of Benton, Arkansas which has been home for Pioneer Scale since its founding in 1977. We have dedicated professionals in each of our service branches who ensure our customers are well taken care of. Pioneer’s corporate office takes the burden of business services of running a business for our service branches and creates economies of scale in human resources, accreditation management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, risk management, accounting and finance.

Keith Crews is a highly experienced professional in the weighing industry with over 36 years of experience. He earned his MBA degree from Henderson State University in 2019, building on his solid foundation in business operations and management. Keith has also serves as the City Director for Ward 3 in Arkadelphia, where he is dedicated to giving back to his community and making a positive impact on the lives of its residents.

Keith is a valuable member of the Pioneer Scale team, where he serves as one of the owners and as the CEO and General Manager. He has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of the company, overseeing all aspects of the business operations, including sales, service, and management of the team. With his extensive experience and leadership skills, Keith has built Pioneer Scale into one of the most reputable and reliable weighing equipment providers in the region.

Chief Operations Officer

Brien Crews is a highly valued member of Pioneer Scale and one of its principal owners, currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer for the company’s Corporate Office Support Success Team. With over thirty years of experience in the weighing industry, Brien grew up in the business and has played a key role in the growth and success of Pioneer Scale.

After earning his Associate of Applied Science in Electronics Technology from Southern Technical College, Brien worked as an EDP Field Engineer for National Cash Register (NCR) before joining Pioneer Scale. He has also worked in the material handling industry and as a sales engineer in the structural paper industry, bringing a wealth of diverse experience to his role as Chief Operations Officer.

Brien is a dedicated family man, having been married to Ann Crews for 29 years and raising two daughters, Ashleigh Debeza and Breanna Kate Crews, as well as a son, Nate, who works as an intern for Pioneer Scale. In his spare time, Brien enjoys competitive fishing, hunting, competitive shooting, multiple scuba diving certifications, and watching Arkansas Razorback Sports.

With his passion for the weighing industry, vast experience, and dedication to family and community, Brien is a key contributor to Pioneer Scale’s continued growth and success.

Operations Manager

David Fenocchi is a valued member of Pioneer Scale’s Corporate Office Support Success Team, serving as the Operations Manager responsible for directing operations for the Branch Offices. Dave joined Pioneer Scale two years ago after spending over 25 years at Danfoss, previously known as Scroll Technology in Arkadelphia, which unfortunately closed in 2020. While at Danfoss, Dave worked in Staff Logistics, where he gained extensive experience in demand planning, vendor management, production scheduling, material control and flow, warehousing, customer service, and domestic and international shipping logistics. His contributions to compressor design were recognized with six patents.

A dedicated family man, David has been married to Amanda Fenocchi for 25 years, and they have two daughters. Hannah is a nursing student at Henderson State University, while Olivia is a senior at Arkadelphia High School. David holds an AS Mechanical Engineering Degree from Alfred State College and a BS Mechanical Engineering Technology Degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

In addition to his work at Pioneer Scale, David is a Certified Arkansas firefighter and law enforcement officer serving in Arkadelphia and Clark County, Arkansas. With his extensive experience, dedication to his family and community, and commitment to excellence, David is a valuable member of the Pioneer Scale team.

Randal Bias
Randal Bias has recently joined our Pioneer Scale Family as our Corporate Sales Manager. He will be overseeing the sales team at all four of our locations along with building relationships, making lasting connections and providing excellent customer service. Randal may be new to our Pioneer family but he is not new to corporate sales. He has over 10+ years in the sales and service industry.

Randal Bias has recently joined our Pioneer Scale Family as our Corporate Sales Manager. He will be overseeing the sales team at all four of our locations along with building relationships, making lasting connections and providing excellent customer service. Randal may be new to our Pioneer family but he is not new to corporate sales. He has over 10+ years in the sales and service industry.

Randal has a strong work ethic and dedication to service. He served as Sargent in the United States Marine Corp from 1988 to 1996. During his service, he did 2 tours in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Randal has been in the blue collar service industry ever since and is not afraid to get his hands dirty by working hard.

Randal and his wife, Jennifer, have been married for 2,345 years (this way he doesn’t have to remember the real number). They have a 19 year old son in college and 2 fur babies (Landry & Mabel) who run the house. Randal is always game to talk about football and baseball “Boomer Sooner”. We are excited with Randal’s addition to our Pioneer Team.

Corporate Human Resources Manager / Safety Director

Mark Gillespie is a key member of Pioneer Scale’s Corporate Office Support Success Team, serving as the Human Resources Manager and directing the Safety Committee Team. With 10 years of experience at Pioneer Scale, Mark joined the company in 2013 after working as a Financial Accountant for Baptist Health – Practice Plus.

Mark is a graduate of the University of Memphis, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Originally from the Millington, Tennessee area, Mark has been happily married to his wife Kim for 37 years, and together they have two daughters, Hayley and Hannah.

In his free time, Mark enjoys walking and hiking with Kim, as well as biking, exercising, and going to the movies. With his wealth of experience in accounting and human resources, as well as his commitment to safety, Mark is a valuable asset to the Pioneer Scale team.

Process Control Manager

Jeff Johnson is the Process Manager on the Corporate Office Support Success Team at Pioneer Scale, with 5 years of experience since joining in 2018. He played a critical role in managing the team for Pioneer Scale’s ISO 17025:2017 Accreditation Certification and currently oversees the ISO 17025:2017 program. Prior to joining Pioneer Scale, Jeff gained management experience at Deluxe Video and Huber Specialty Hydrates.

Originally from Benton, Jeff has been happily married to Michelle for 33 years and raised two sons, Hunter and Cruz. Outside of work, Jeff is a music enthusiast and particularly enjoys playing the drums.

Tekelia McKensie serves as the AP/AR Director on Pioneer Scale’s Corporate Office Support Success Team. Prior to joining Pioneer Scale, Tekelia spent 20 years with Danfoss in Arkadelphia which closed in 2020, where she worked in logistics as a customer service specialist for US to Mexico operations. She has been with Pioneer Scale for two years. Tekelia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration BBA from Henderson State University. She is married to Tyrone McKenzie for 22 years, and they have a daughter who is a freshman at Henderson State University.

Heather Boyd. Recently relocating to Arkansas from Dallas, TX, she originally hails from the Fort Worth area. With a professional background of 6.5 years in Accounts Receivables and Operations at a Premium Finance Company, Heather is happily married to her high school sweetheart, whom she met while working at Chuck E. Cheese during high school. Their family includes a soon-to-be-one-year-old baby boy and two dogs. During her leisure time, Heather enjoys watching sports, reading books, exploring hiking trails, and embracing the outdoors. Excited to contribute to the Pioneer Scale team, she looks forward to making a positive impact every day.

Nathan Crews is a part of the Corporate Office Support Success Team of Pioneer Scale, working on marketing. Being the son of Brien Crews, he grew up around Pioneer Scale and recently joined as an intern and decided to come on full time. Nathan is passionate about fishing and was a member of the Razorback fishing team on scholarship in 2021. Apart from fishing, he enjoys hunting, going to the gym, and cars. In 2021, Nathan graduated from Bauxite High School.
