Pioneer Scale Company came to life when Ronnie Crews, along with his wife, Jeanie, decided to pursue their dream of business ownership. Ronnie started the journey when he accepted a position with Howe Richardson Scale Company where he quickly worked his way up to become a district manager.
After 11 years of experience, Ronnie and Jeanie took a leap of faith and founded Pioneer Scale in 1976. Their sons, Keith and Brien, both joined the family business full-time in the late ’80s, after working throughout their high school and college summer breaks.
An operation that started from the kitchen table has grown into something much bigger. The Crews family’s emphasis on building relationships and providing great customer service allowed their dream to flourish into 4 thriving service locations in Arkansas, Texas, and Colorado, plus company headquarters in Benton, AR.
